INSTALL VIDEO COMING SOON.

*TOOLS REQUIRED.
1. (2) 13mm wrenchs.
2. (1) 12mm wrench.
3. 10mm wrench.
4. 1/4 inch bit driver.
5. High-Quality Solid T40 Torx Bit (Ratchet or Breaker Bar only. NO IMPACT TOOLS).

CRITICAL WARNING: FACTORY HARDWARE REMOVAL The factory Toyota hinge bolts are seated with extreme torque and thread locker.

  • DO NOT use an impact driver. The Torx receptacle on the factory bolt will strip out immediately.

  • DO NOT use the provided security T40 bit to break the factory bolts loose. Security bits have a hollow center and will snap under heavy torque.

  • PROPER METHOD: Use a high-quality, solid T40 Torx bit on a hand ratchet. Ensure the bit is seated completely to the bottom of the bolt head. Apply steady, heavy hand pressure to break it loose.
